I have changed the oil every 3000 miles for the life of the truck.
New brake master cylinder etc.

Problems (hey, I believe in being honest!):
Cooling system, radiator needs rodding-out (overheats in AZ summer with AC on, You need to watch the temp guage, sometimes, I just run the heater for 1 minute to bring it back)
Rear seal oil leak, about 1 qt between changes
PS fluid leak, it squeels on turns and then you get an upper-arm workout when it needs filling.
Aux cooling fan in engine compartment no longer runs after shutting engine off.
It has gotten weak in its old age, I cannot keep up 55 up a steep hill.
It sometimes diesels when I try and shut it off.
Brake fluid sensor or something bad, light remains partially on all the time. (Brakes are fine) AC is fine too, but the blue light doesn't light any more.
Mileage has always been poor, 11 to 13 on the sticker, now its closer to 11.
Mechanic says it will need a new muffler & back part of tail pipe in a year or so.
Horn button sometimes doesn't work (it doesn't beep, next day it works fine)
Some vibration driving, might be worn front end parts.
Rear seat heater leaked and bypassed many years ago.
Leaf springs getting weak.
Antenna broke and repaired
I replaced the orig AM/FM with an AM/FM cassette. The bezel doesn't match (i.e. you turn the knob mark tuning to adjust the volume. I have the other bezel if you want to cut it to fit.
Rock dings on bumper
small rock ding on windshield (NOT a crack, has not grown in 3 years)

Jim Winter, 3011 N. 73rd St. Scottsdale (nr Scottsdale & Tomas) 947-4687 has done all work on it since I moved to AZ.

If you might drive into Mexico, clean it VERY carefully, there's bound to be a pistol cartridge lyin' in there somewhere, you'd better find it before the Federales do!
