Paintings of
Lois Verrel Willson (Poole)
1902?-1986?
This is my paternal Grandmother. Apparently she did some painting in her
college days at Carson Neuman in TN in the 20's. There, she met Grace Poole,
my Paternal grandfather's sister, who introduced her to her brother, and
the rest is history. (I'm not sure of the dates or spelling)
The one on the left I often saw as a child, I found it hard to believe
that "Grandma" painted that! The one on the right apparently is an unfinished
copy of a famous classic, not the hands are posed for the shepards staff
that never got painted.
(I need to redo this without the flash!)
